Log in account

I am attempted several times to get a link to reset my password as I have forgotten it. My email dazcaz1@***.co.uk - however not received any link in email or junk/spam.

I have also attempted to create a new account under a different email, and that telling me you have an account under the email - definitely not - new email address. kazflinders0863@***.com

Could someone please check into this and close my account so I create a new one and no matter which email I use it states - we seem to have an account under that email - I know this not so.

Should be under dazcaz1 email

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I need to keep connect8ng to enable Alex to play bbc radio . Thank You Karen Flinders

The removal of The Film Review from it's scheduled Friday screening at 5.45pm, for the past 2 weeks

I look forward to the Film Review. It is a highlight for me. It is only 10 minutes long, I would like it to be longer. There is blanket coverage of the Ukraine Crisis throughout the day, which is acceptable up to a point. Sport is not sacrificed so why the Film Review? If it is deemed to be too indelicate sandwiched between the 5pm and 6 pm bulletins why not record it onto iplayer or show it at 8.45pm as you have done on previous occasions.

UK Worship of David Attenborough

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
UK loves the dramatic and it shows in their verbiage regarding every subject from A to Z. We all need to remember that a Naturalist (Attenborough) is not a Scientist. Consider the source of his “awards”. For all Britains...just because you use an overabundance of adjectives both descriptive and limited does not make what you spew more truthful.

Sometimes want to switch off

Having been a watchers and lovers of the programme, I find now I want to switch off for some time. My husband also agrees with (oh not not him again) Charlie Ross should move to children's hour. Its adults that watch the show, and he with his bulging eyes and presentation manner, is so irritating, trying to be the big boss. In a way trying to imitate TIM which he can never do. The new one the with changes of item must be bought for £75 etc and other slight changes, brings the programme right down sadly. Most of the bargain experts are fine (women are best) When the expert encourages them to buy an item which nearly always loses, apart from Kate. They should only buy the bonus buy, and not deter applicants away of something they like. and kindly advise them why. The bargain hunt with Tim was just perfect, and any changes should be carefully made. Some experts fail to bargain down sellers, and accept the 1st price although unusual. Let's have the old style back, plus someone like Tim to control it. The program is much weaker than it used to be, and changes attempted so far do not work. Charlie ross should stick to his sale of rare motors, and not behave like a clown on TV

UK TV License Outdated Against Streaming Rivals

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
The UK TV License now look seriously outdated against the many pay monthly streaming rivals such as Netflix, Now TV and Amazon. The UK TV license costs £145 per annum or £12 monthly whereas a standard Netflix account is £7.50 monthly and Now TV Entertainment pass is £6.99. This makes the TV license 40% more expensive than its rivals. For second home owners the price of the TV License doubles even when it will get much less use whereas with the streaming services you pay only slightly more to watch on more than one screen at the same time regardless of location, ideal for providing high quality entertainment in holiday homes. With many people now choosing to only watch selected high quality programming on demand the traditional UK TV license looks very outdated and expensive compared to streaming rivals producing very high quality drama. It feels like many UK TV license payers are now subsidising the few people who still watch the live TV shows. Time for change, the BBC should become democratic and adopt paywalls like the streaming services to see who really wants to pay for what content.

Desi Bouterse dictator and murderer of Suriname

In South America in the early 80's some horrible murders have been made and committed during a military power gain, already many victims have been made and more grotesque ones to follow. If you see the way how these people have been shot in cold blood whereby people where helpless, if only they could have help from outside. During the military power gain also rape & menslaughter was also top priority. December Murders refers to the murder on December 8, 1982, of thirteen civilians and two military officials who opposed the military rule in Suriname. They were executed in Fort Zeelandia, Paramaribo. The circumstances have not become completely clear yet; at the time, the Suriname military administration of Dési Bouterse claimed all were shot while trying to flee. Others have spoken of torture, murder and summary execution. The December Murders led to international protests. The former colonial power, Netherlands, froze development aid afterwards. No one has stood trial for the murders. Then military leader and later president Bouterse however did later accept political responsibility, but he says he is not the one who 'pulled the trigger'. The suspects, The Dutch parlement where in favour to schrink the suspects into 25 persons local to militair personal. These are the suspects and are still for trial when leaving the country. John Baboeram, lawyer Bram Behr, journalist Cyrill Daal, union leader Kenneth Gonçalves, lawyer Eddy Hoost, lawyer André Kamperveen, journalist Gerard Leckie, university faculty Sugrim Oemrawsingh, university faculty Lesley Rahman, journalist Surendre Rambocus, military Harold Riedewald, lawyer Jiwansingh Sheombar, military Jozef Slagveer, journalist Robby Sohansingh, businessman Frank Wijngaarde, journalist (with Dutch citizenship) Still now Desi Bouterse has a close political game and doesn't let all people in the country. Business import & export is limited out of suspicion of being caught by international police or interpol.

In the Netherlands for havign sex with underaged their is at the moment no strict law. A Dutch man who have worked several years at the low elementary school as a take care for childeren have been caught having sex over more with childern 1 to 5 years. The reports have been made that many childern around 110 at least have been molested in the child garten. Parents are schocked but mostly the childern have mental trauma's and the Dutch trial & court have been going on lately. In the Netherlands at the moment you can't be charged for pedophiles acts on a strict level. You only get TBS and 2 years therapy. The money perhaps is for the Dutch parents a solid relieve 8000 euros for one child for Dutch sntandards is good. We hope all the best for the Dutch Law system because it's one of the most weakest in Europe.

Bbc documentary booked appointment and never showed

I just want to warn other small business' like myself that there is a new BBC documentary Don't Tell the Bride -Series in which the groom must choosing every detail of his wedding, from venue to cake to wedding dress. They booked to come to our studio at 6pm yesterday we close at 1pm - I was so excited at what I though was a golden opportunity - I spent the day preparing a slide show the studio and putting out a wedding Invitation display. I organised someone to pick up my little 2 year old from nursery. Our studio is a working studio and believe me it took some time to sort papers etc as we make wedding Invitations. At 6.02pm they phoned to tell me they were not coming and they decided to use someone closer to home. I am totally shocked at the way they worked and whilst the Camera man was apologetic I think that it is only fair that other wedding suppliers are warned about this as I lost a half a day preparing for something that could have been better used making invitations.
